SHOWDEER is known as a prolific digital artist creating unique dreamlike, surrealist and psychedelic digital painterly/illustrative/collage artworks as well as hand-drawn illustration and animation working professionally for over fifteen years starting in 2008.

Early art consisted of mostly vintage subject matter as unique illustrative collage artwork utilizing distinct distressed textures and colorful pastel color palettes with thoughtful surreal and psychedelic subconscious subject matter pushing the boundaries within digital fine art. Now he his mostly focusing on hand-drawn illustration work instead of illustrative/collage.

He has worked with many large company clients including; Amazon, Sony, Universal, Lucasfilm, Star Wars, Red Bull, Pabst, Lagunitas Brewing, Urban Outfitters and more. As well as well-known and beloved bands; Wilco, The Black Keys, Built To Spill, Guided By Voices, Mudhoney, Yo La Tengo, Barenaked Ladies and many others.

Showdeer is also known as an early adopter of merging digital fine art with blockchain technology with his first mint on February 15th, 2021. Showdeer’s digital art project, The Genesis Collection, along with The Editions Collection, actively and consistently minted artworks, amassing over 1,800 individual unique collectors, including the most popular digital art collector, Cozomo Medici as well as Keith Grossman (President of TIME Magazine) and Mark Cuban. His collections have generated great interest and success especially in 2021 with The Genesis Collection and Editions Collection. THE SHOWDEER GENESIS COLLECTION (2008-2023)

The Showdeer Genesis Collection is a look inside fifteen years of dedication and hard work of one artist continuing to make art his life by consistently creating digital experimental dreamlike, surrealist and psychedelic illustrative/collage fine artworks while developing a unique style within this 15-year timespan starting in 2008 experimenting with digital fine art. All pieces were created digitally in a collage-illustrative fashion using Adobe Photoshop exclusively starting in 2008 to 2023. Approx. 2500 pieces were created with only 1000 of the best selected forever minted on the ethereum blockchain.

In the collection each piece contains a short description, is numbered #0001-1000, features rarity properties, mini-collections within the collection; including twenty-five Super Psychedelic rares, nine Collector Commissions, another nine in The Garden Pieces Series, (#3 “Garden Skull” owned by Cozomo Medici) as well as the last nine pieces being held for future auctions when the collection gains even more popularity. Now that The Genesis Collection is complete, Showdeer is focusing on newly created digitally hand painted pieces on iPad Procreate for his Showdeer II Collection. He also is often creating gig posters, designing merch & branding for companies and is always oil painting on canvas in his studio.
